OK, ok, I should clarify - at the end Realm of Empires is a sort of virtual community so you can, if you want to, spend the whole day messaging friends. The intention is that you do not need to spend a lot of time to enjoy playing the game.
Also, the 15 minutes per day is our goal. We conciously decided not to reward players constant online presence and instead we'll offer tools to simplify repetative tasks. We've got a long way to go as anyone with 100 villages can attest to, however, we will get there! There are many ideas on the drawing board that will make it possible - btw, many thanks to all those players who offer their suggestions!
You see, may of such games reward activity - the more often you are online the better you will do. And they shy away from offering features that would allow you to login once or twice daily. I suppose those ads got to be displayed, banners clicked ;)
We decided to create a game for busy people, people like us. Everything in the game is designed with this goal in mind. I know many features are missing, but they are coming!

Also how about extending the nightime build button to 12 hours of build time?
i think a good idea is to have archers instead of malitia. a type of troop that has a great defence but almost no attack so at the beginning of the game they would provide better defense against stronger plaiers that have been in the game a while
It would be useful if you have troops from village 1 supporting another village of your own and be able to control those troops from village 2 for spy attacks or attacks - depending on what troops are in support and of course they would have to originate from a village controlled by you and not another player
auto troop recruitment...
a single troop could be selected for auto recruitment
whenever silver is available and that building is not recruiting, then a single unit is recruited (until land runs out, you could also apply a daily limit)
this idea could be made generic for all troops... recruit X units per day whenever silver available
or target recruit of X units at any time whenever silver available
i think the most useful feature would be to take out friendly fire. When I'm supporting a village I'm about to take over, i find it a pain when I can't log on at the right time, to take away my support troops before my attacking ones hit. If something comes up and I can't log on, I'm screwed and loose days worth of time that i spent building up the troops and govs for the takeover. Please make it so that my troops don't kill each other! lol It just makes no seance!
I have a suggestion for game play that does not necessarily help with the 15 minute per day goal, but I think would add a nice element to game. Perhaps you could create some way to track the movement of attacking and returning troops on the game map, and allow people to intercept and attack those troops while they are in route. This way, you could defend your own and your clan mates' villages before they are even attacked at the home base. I think this would be a nice way to introduce new strategies to the game. Just a thought!!
The biggest problem I believe is that villages should only be able to attack villages that are within their range. This way the clans and players that have been playing for such a long time can not continue to take out the newer players as they try to play. It is very discouraging to work on your village for a week or two and have it taken over by a huge clan when you didn't even get a chance to really build up enough protection (especially not with just 15 minutes a day)
What I would like to see is a troop movement that doesnt require the troops coming back to home base. My 100 Xtroops leave HQ to my new villiage A. Villiage A has built up enough to stand on it own. Now my ally need support troops. Instead of recalling my troops home a messager gets to the commander that his new orders take him to Villiage B. This would be very handy for moving defensive troop like Infantry around without the long travel times.
I think its good if we can put some tasks even if we dont have enough gold. When the gold sufficient, the task run automatically. So we dont have to login often

are you sure you want to put up advices here? you are just helping others to be better at this game... Its a realm of empire,,, you won't reach the top if you give tips to others how to rise up...
To reduce the time with many villages into half:
Construction and Troops recruitment on the same page.
Troop recruitment on the summary page.
Silvertransport on the summary page.
Archers for towers. citadel for defense
You should be able to hurl plague-infected cows over the walls.
How about limiting the number of troops allowed in a village, e.g depending on the level of the village or a certain building, only a certain amount off troops per class (1000 inf CM knights and so on) are allowed in, excluding support, this would mean that you would never have to worry about high ranking players filling smaller villages with large armies, this has happened to me.
a player fills a small village they have ownership of with 50000 inf and attack the hq of whoever attacks the village knowing they have lost the majority of their forces.
a new building like a market that allows aditional income from traderoutes established with other players like allies discluding your own villages
sometimes too many features will make the game not a game anymore... the more function you have - then it become meaningless. This is war games - U have to be there if you dont want to lose... Cheers to all
How about unlocking it so anyone can have unlimited building... that is, as long as you have the silver for it, you can schedule construction until the money runs out... This would make it easier to only have to log on for 15 min a day!
"How about unlocking it so anyone can have unlimited building... that is, as long as you have the silver for it, you can schedule construction until the money runs out... This would make it easier to only have to log on for 15 min a day!"
Thats what I would suggest as well. The building queues should be a basic part of the game, not a purchased extra. Without them it is impossible to keep the game at a casual 15 min.
one of the best features to keep this game 15 minutes a day would be an option that caused outgoing attacks to cease if the village in question changed owners. i find myself having to log on to watch my attacks land.
I find that maybe you could create a variety of troops you can hire from foreign lands that existed during medieval times. Also you could introduce naval power in places that have lakes/rivers. And you could also give a way to attack troops that are on the move to defend any clan mmbers/allies in need. Also you could introduce some kind of way for clan members to see when their members are attack so they can defend them. Another thing is that you could introduce other produceable materials that you can trade among kingdoms and across continents.
All the food from all owned villages will add up in total. Making it no restriction of army size in one village.
I think be able to choose were you put your village would be the Best feature ever in Realm of Empires! being able to be by friends, family and clan members would make the game a lot easier and a lot more enjoyable experience. and i think we can all agree this would be better than any other idea...no offense they are all good ideas.
Allow the creation of a standard build list that can be applied to many villages at once. I.e. "Wall, wall, barracks, tower, silver mine," could be applied to several villages, and each would build the wall twice, then barracks, tower, and silver mine as long as each target village had enough resources.
I would think it logical that the tavern and trading post should add to income.
I can see the tavern having an income but the trading post makes little sense...Now if u had resources or some type of item u could sell or buy at the trading posts then maybe i could see that. Also an idea i had is that you could make different races..like elves..dwarves..and so on..They could all have their advantages and disadvantages.
How about the ability of spies to gain intel on attacking forces??
Just a thought.
There should be items that we can equip to make our units differ from each other because no two villages should be identical with customization of items/abilities we would be able to have a large spectrum of different combination. This would make for example say to villages are going at it they you already know what the out come will be if they are around the same level...but if you have technology of abilities/items you maybe able to change your stars....David and Goliath should be the case....let the smaller guy have a chance to defend himself from a colossal enemy. Throw a average Joe a bone...I've played many RPG type games and what I see is I advance really fast...and I make alot of noobies quit because It is so hard for them to advance once you have a place hold on a realm...So I think from a noobies prospective they should have a fair chance...to pull the sword out of the stone and beable to kick some royal booty!
as games go, this one by far is the best game on Facebook and MySpace (that i've found...). the only suggestion i have is that for troop recuiting, you click on the barracks; just like you click on the HQ for upgrades. (or make the buttons for 'Map, Troops' and 'Player village' larger for easier access)
Recurring attacks. I attack the same villages over and over to get the silver. It would be nice to be able to set certain villages to have regularly scheduled raids. The raids should automatically cancel if the village changes hands. The attacks can occur automatically within a given time frame as soon as troops are available
I suggest having the ability to sell excess farm goods for silver to other villages. We already have markets and set limits on growth. Just take some tweeking on the market to allow transport. This allows smaller villages more silver, and larger villages that are maxed out on land , more food.
Can even have set prices, to make things easier.
I love this game and I will admit Im a newbie to rpg games....though I have watched my son play lots....the one thing I would like to see is more quests I really enjoyed the quests. Though my only problem is that the last quest I couldnt complete cause it took 4 days for a clan member to send me troops, Lady_Katla
I love this game. I like that it doesn't take a long time to have fun during the day, no matter what you are doing during the day. Good job!!
An option on the map that will show every village as either red or blue.
Red= villages with more points than you
Blue Villages with less points than you.
This will allow the player to easily track the progress of his friends and enemies with out having to click on each village
I think the game should have a central command centre. One city will always be the biggest. Make it so that you can make a control-centre. In this centre you should be able to command your troops. Have a simplified view of all your cities and what are being built, able you to simply control all cities from one screen.
I suppose if I was trying to make it a 15 minute a day game, I'd go check out on-line games that already do that. !st one that comes to my mind is that Fantasy Sports games. It usually only takes me 15-30 minutes to check my team and lineups and make any changes. While this RoE is a bit different, there are things you could do that are similar. Like having one page that lists all your owned villages so you can check out each village and give orders from that one location. I'd use Auto functions where I can... like maybe setting the ability to build units or buildings in advance. (Example would be setting to build 10 calvery units every 12 hours... or setting a build in advance by selecting date, time, and build desired. This would be handy if you knew you'd be away from the computer for over a day.) Even have an auto-message-send to set up so that if you were attacked while not logged in, a message would automatically be sent to your clan leader so that he could take action on your behalf. There's much more but I think you see what I'm getting at.
Thanks for listening.
y dnt u lower the requirments for building a palace and the cost of it so the game is quick and reduce build time and the cost for everything
It does not matter what you do to the game or how little/a lot of time you play. When you can have a guy with 50 towns attack and conquer someone that has been playing for 9days and has yet to even get to the point where he can even remotely defend himself against such a player. There is very little sense in even wasting 15mins a day on the game.
The auto troop recruitment is an excellent idea.
I was also thinking this: on the Summary: Buildings screen where you can check a box to buy chests - what if you can buy a nominated type of military unit (up to the max affordable by your current silver in that village)?
I realize how good this idea sounds to established players, but new players count on the fact that at a certain point the 'mega players' (those with 100 villages to manage) get slowed down by their own ambitions.
If you over automate the game it could essentially exclude new blood as it could become impossible for new people to establish themselves.
And... isn't a player's own abilitites to find ways to manage multiple tasks and villages effectively, what separates the good from the great?!?
Not to mention (Heaven forbid) it might even develop some useful multitasking skills in all of us?
We need some way to both control the troops that are stationed in a village for support if needed, and a way to make waypoint type routing of troops to different areas. This would allow more control over the actual movement of troops.
I'd like to see a "clanless" realm created, one that rewards individual creativity and tactics, rather than relying on or being restricted to clan directives, or fearful of returning an attack because the other's clan will revenge him...
Battle handicapping is a pain; it means the battle simulator underestimates SIGNIFICANTLY my casualties as an attacker.
With the constant treat of being attacked the 15 mins a day is not that good of an ideal. you could auto this or that to speed things up but if you can be attacked at anytime all of the auto stuff does not help nor does any 24hr/7day a week game lend itself to 15mins aday
Fairly useless game. Impossible to get into due to power imbalances.
Suggest a limit 'level lock' on war as developed players spend all their time driving new players from the game and not bothering each other. Players over a certain points level should be limited to attacking each other.
Shame as it is nice game in many ways but it won't grow because of this and makes for a pretty bad gaming experience because of it.
Okay, First off: having automatic troop recruitment would be a horrible idea! It would mean me being able to stop playing the game completely(making me an inactive player), and then no one being able to farm me when I don't even play anymore.
Archers and "Archers mounted on horses" would be a great idea. It would also seem more likely to make the citizen militia into something like Spearmen (not a big deal in changing the names but still)
Also, how come the Heavy infantry can carry more than the light? wouldn't it make sense for the light to carry more than the heavy when the light infantry weigh less? Just a thought....
Back to the actual subject, sometimes I really do want to spend more than 15 minutes playing this game, I think this game can take a really long time(when you have 100 villages) or it can take a super short time (1-3 villages)
So really you should only spend as much time as your willing, but please don't put a limit on how much we're allowed to play. I think that would almost ruin the game.
One thing is really bugging me though, In order for me to look across the map to further away villages I have to center onto the next village. Can we just have a scroll bar or something?
Thanks for listening.

I think there is a lot of fake messages passed around the forum I myself have been victim of this and find it very upsetting. I think this should be stopped.
It is not easy to limit to 15 mins if we have to go on raids or attack.
"I think be able to choose were you put your village would be the Best feature ever in Realm of Empires! being able to be by friends, family and clan members would make the game a lot easier and a lot more enjoyable experience. and i think we can all agree this would be better than any other idea...no offense they are all good ideas."
I agree. this would make it a lot easier to defend one another and have fun. but on the flip side you have to remember that if a huge clan was to be bunched up with all the villages on the outsides completely maxed out with support units from the rest, then there would be almost no way to conquer them. it would make for several clans being invincible.
I've only been playing for several days now. It seems that there is many that have issues with longtime players having a huge advantage over new players like myself. There has to be a way to negate that from happening.
I won't put all this time into my village just to have it taken over after my 5 days of no attacks.
I joined a clan almost immediately, and invited 2 friends. I'd be extremely disappointed if that happened after spending that much time building up my village. Even moreso, if my friends had it happen to them.
Is it possible to implement a kind of proximity of level gauge into a seige?
i suggest that we should have a planner or somethng like a scheduler of task so that we can still manage our troops or our villages while we are away.
i suggest that we should have a many silver for support any building or troops. then we make alliance for our clan. after that we use team work to destroy and occupy every village we need.
P.S. we should proper upgrade villages and troops
for the best efficiency and choose the proper troops suitable for situatuion.
1st... i dun really agree to having all known each other real time players together... it jux makes several "grps" we will have, invincible, knocking out whichever single player or smaller "grps"... There will be a total unbalance in th power of a certain area of the map... imagine a new player with no frenz playin put his village in a centre of th grp... he is gone...
2nd... i believe there should be some free "clans" ruled by the admin... the new players will automatically join a free "clan" at th start of their game in tutorial... th "clans" should oni protect the new players untill they found a new clan to protect themselves with or when they believe they could strike out on their own... meanwhile they are inside th clan, they cannot be attack or go on an attack... th free "clan" jux acts as a invisible and invinciable shield for th weaker players... the clan should have no actual powers...
My apologies if i had speak smth wrong...On the overall this is a wonderful game....enjoy the game everyone...
OOOH GOOD IDEA JUST STRUCK ME what if you could click build for things that you dont have enuf silver for so it can build once you get enuf silver from your mine
I think a great idea is to put in some computer villages. Meaning, aswell as the already rebel villages, you could create Villages that are very strong, but contain a substantial reward for breaking the defenses and taking the plunder. These villages could offer both a point reward if you succesfully defeat them aswell as a hardy plunder amount. Seeing as many troops will be lost in the battle, it should be well worth the effort put into the troop recruitment. These villages should also be able to be attacked by anyone at any time. This is to say, that if another player attacks and defeates this village, The troops he defeats and the plunder he collects does not dissappear from that village to anyone but himself. So that if i happen to attack that village immediately after him, I still collect the same amount of plunder, aswell as fight a force just as strong.
Another idea is to impliment something such as a single customizable "Commander". So that a play can add his/her own style to the game. (Thus making it more exciting to the player) These "commanders" should be equipped with stats, such as attack, defense, agility, Charisma, and other such things. These stats could be worked on by simply adding a building along the lines of, "Individual training" or something of the sort. The "commanders" would be attributed with an energy or stamina bar. This bar would dictate how much training he/she could do in a day. This idea of "commanders" would also assist in the use of ranks already used in the game. As a player levels, Merchant, grand merchant, knight, barron etc... The commander would gain a level, at which point a player can distribute the allocated points to his prefered Stats.
Simply put... I belive if a single commander of the troops was used, the game would be both more interesting and personal to each individual player. Think about it, What does every great RPG have in common? A customizable character, who levels in rank and/or power. I have plenty of ideas so if you are interested in any of these ideas, let me know and I will further elaborate.
Each village should have some sort a commander, and bigger ones should have a few, so you could have one at home to defend and one leading an attakc.
But i like the attack radius idea, you shouldn't be able to send an attack all the way accross the map, this way your outlying villages could form a wll and you could concentrate troops on your border to form a defense, thus allowing clans to form countries of sorts.
I alos liked the cap on troops on a city idea, based on the wall and tower level. maybe something to do with the palace?
Also maybe something to do with not all troops dying in a battle, it would be rare for all enemies to be slaughtered in a battle. have surviving troops retreet to the neerest clan village or somthing. you could also set battle to allow no quarter, higher caulties no survivors, and defend to the last man, higher losses more enemies killed.
Thank you for you time
To be honest they should have spend more time and made the silver mining more in realm 4 are the people that build this old people or what how can we build a good village in a week or two weeks even we still will be constructing a level 10 stable this time next year. Realm 1 is the best as I love realm 3. But Realm 2 and 4 is beyond a joke and a half. Like what the hell i going through the workers that constructed this games heads. I know it will only make us work harder and longer to earn more villages however it will take days to even earn a gd piece of silver. Absolutely days even realm 2 is better than 4 and relam 2 is the most boring part of this R.P.G if you want players to keep interested then the creators need to be shot and filmed and posted to youtube. I am very upsit about realm 4 and I thing that even vampire wars and castle age ar far more iinteresting than that crap realm.
I feel this is very important. City Sieges.
Battles should not be over in an instant. Give you and allies time to send reinforcements. The battles should be interactive. Peoples actions should have outcomes. Have a battle line that your army can attack. The more people and men that join the battle the longer the line. The line moves , terrain has effect and hills make a difference. You can move you troops around and attack different parts of the line trying to break though or flank them. Or form a strong defensive part of the line. Armies can be routed. Then regroup. Bring your troops home(retreat) when you know you have lost or they are exhausted. You shouldn’t lose your whole army in one battle. The computer controls your soldiers really well so that you can be part of the battle even when offline with preset preferences. Length of battle time depends on amount of soldiers but must be more than 24 hrs so that people that log on once a day have time to react. Keep it simple so not to overload your Hardware. I am not talking about having graphics. You orders attacks the same way you do now. They die at around 2% an hour depending on above mentioned factors. If a town is being attacked it only falls after the troops inside are all dead and the battle raging outside is over. Battle statistics and reports. List of famous Battles. Have places worth fighting over. More so for the pride of ownership than Money. Being part of battles would be fantastic. Give you a real sense of being part of a war. At the moment you can go to bed and wake up and all you cities could be gone. Long seiges would fix this.
Have a realm that has clans of say maximum 10. They can’t make alliances with other clans. These big clans are ridiculous. That way you are more like a country with neighbours. You get to know you clan members. Have only close neighbours in you clan so that you can work together. I even like the idea of a separate realm that has no clans!
Not get so big. I have looked at the leaders and how many cities they have. That would be too much work. If you do get that big the cities would have to look after themselves more. 20 cities would be plenty.
Those big players are fanatics and shouldn’t be able to ruin it for everyone else. I think they cause a lot of people to stop playing.

Have a couple of different servers for people with different interests.
Great game. R4 is kind of slow.
"My idea is to build a giant wooden rabbit, deliver it and then at night Lancelot, Galahad and I leap out of the rabbit and surprise the French."
"Who leaps out of the Rabbit?"
"Lancelot, Galahad and I..."
Yes, I'd also like to be able to pre-assign troop movements that would be triggered the moment that my attacking troops attack, return home, or when my supporting troops meet their destination, or return home.
Another thing that could be done is an auto build feature. For instance I'd like to be able to have my village continue upgrading the silver mine early in the game as soon as I have enough funds. It would be nice to have villages automatically continue to build whatever I set them to keep building until I decide to change it.
How about making the game a full blown RTS (real time strategy game)
It would destroy your goal of being a casual game, but it would be one kick **** Facebook App.
i think it would be much fun if we can see a 3D fight while attacking some village. XD
The attack scheduler is critical. I can grow much faster if I take a village with one gov instead of waiting to get 4. But trying to take a village with one gov requires me to be logged on every 4-6 hours, or however long the round trip takes. If i could just schedule them to head right back when they return, I wouldn't have to be on near as much.
I agree with a lot of the comments that people have already posted. The one thing that I think needs to be done is to make less things require servants to unlock those items.
I know that it is a free game and all but I don't feel that I should need to pay for simple things like a zoomed out map or to be able to amass longer build lists for times like over night or what not.
It also would help quite a bit if the friendly fire was turned off like others have said because in real life, you shouldn't need to recall your troops that are supporting someplace when you declare war. you should be able to tell them to attack where ever they are without bringing them back and sending them back to that village.
Allies and Firendly fires
Is there anyway to eliminate friendly fires and attacks on yourself and allies? No one could stay on after hours to stop a friendly fires or attacks on yourself and allies troops. I also agree with Archers and Citizens Militias at the same time as defense units.
Scarface1
How about this - level the playing field just a little to encourage newbies to stay. Large reams with 10's of thousands of troops should be susceptible to random disease that decimate armies, much like in real life.
Smaller kingdoms would not be susceptible simply due to smaller numbers.
Just a thought.
33 yr old gamer here.Archers plz.Troop movement to any village after deployment.auto builds for troops when silver is available.Where are the moats?!Food consumtion for large traveling armies.Just a few thoughts for now. ty,brandon
The most time consuming aspect of the game is coordinating large attacks between villages. Timing your attacks to land in the proper order and close together takes a lot of time, especially if the originating villages are not right next to each other.
If there was some way to schedule this stuff, you could certainly get closer to your 15 minute goal.
It would be great if you put "troop upgrade system" allows to upgrade troops....example: if you upgrade the infantry it will increase its attack or defense........Thank you
i think that withh the night time mode it should calculate how much money u would get during the 8 hrs and u should be able to use all the money u would have anyways
I have not been playing very long so my opinion may not be valid but it seems to me that the game has been well thought out by the writers and most of the ideas expressed should be incorporated in a new game written by them. I am well pleased so far and when I become dissatisfied I will vote with my feet. Keep up the good work. JAXON
I'm not sure how applicable it is to your 15 minutes per day but here goes...How about spies being utilised for more than just simply spying on villages...for example, the larger clans utilise their mines and networks in order to defeat other clans and players by progressing really fast...why not allow all of us to spy on villages for potential money caravans that have left that village? It would bring a new dimension to the game...a sort of geurilla warfare to the existing warfare...and the loss % could be fairly slight given that your spy is only after hearsay about caravans.
I also would like to add my vote for archers...a medieval game without archers is like peanut butter without jelly, lol.
I am relatively new, but two thoughts: 1) allow a time delay for attacks, 2) have an option to abort an attack if the target changes owners.
I would think that troops in a time delay would count as in transit if their home village were attacked. There may be cases where you want an attack to continue even if the target changed hands. Or maybe abort only if new owners is same clan, ally, or NAP.
Just want to say love the 15 min a day goal you guys have and think there are many good suggestions here to help that aim.
How about instead of archers with a higher defense, they do they damage to the enemy BEFORE they take it, effectively raising they're defense, but make it a bit more effective.
I believe a Blacksmith would be useful. This way you can equip your troops with better weapons and armor making them more formidable.
Since this game is very much like "Tribal Wars," the goal of 15-minutes a day is rather a laugh. If that's all one plays a day, one will find their village taken over in a few weeks.
Being able to schedule repeated moves- let 10 knights (for example) oscillate between a farm village and the home village- with maybe a 15 minute layover where the troops could be attacked while supporting the farmed village.
I only read the first few so I don't know if this has been said, but whatever.
When you have troops attacking a village that you also have troops supporting, THEY SHOULD NOT ATTACK EACTH OTHER. To keep it in theme with how sneaky people are, the supporting troops should team up with the attacking troops or "knock down" the tower or something. THEY SHOULD BE ON YOUR SIDE BECAUSE THEY ARE YOUR TROOPS. At the very least they should stand aside and let your army through, they SHOULD NOT join the defending side.
For the goal of 15 minutes per day... Can we get a "Make all Forums Read" link in the clan forums? I waste a lot of time checking forums only to see it's old posts there that I haven't looked at and is out of date. I don't have time to see there and click each topic to it is marked as read. This would really help a lot.
I think having a more taxing defence would be benificial to the game and help stop a lot of multis/glitches/etc. from destroying the game like it did with Triumph, purhaps a moat, drawbridge some type of defence out side the castle walls!
Probrably impossible in four, but should there be another realm, and clan members (ie; those invited into a clan prior to joining) are auto set within a certain proximity of each other, It would make sense that such a clan could only recruit within a certain distance away from the edge of their clan. Say 20 squares from each viallge.
As the clan got bigger, the radius would grow. Once clan territories met, the borders would merge to a degree, and the clans would either make a treaty, or war for more land. Having each clan scattered across the face of the world makes little sense.
This would to some degree cut down on new players being crushed within the first few weeks by organized clans that cross the bredth or the world and have nearly unlimited resourses. It would also eventually result in the formation of Kingdoms.
I just have to say, I find the game addictive as hell. But 15 minutes per day??? dream on!
Impossible to do with a game this size because there is no ability for us to move. Therefore, everything is long range, so.. support can be a day away, while your enemy is 10 minutes. If you like living dangerously... play 15 minutes a day.. for about a month. At the end of that month.. start over as you learn to appreciate the silentness of the rim.
The closer you get to the middle (not the center) the more active it gets, and the more time needed. 25 villages are not maintained in 15 minutes.
I play Realm 4 and Realm 3.. I find Realm 3 is about 15 minutes every 6 hours (excluding night when I sleep) and Realm 3 is about 1 hours twice a day minimum as I am a diplomat for a clan as well as a battlegroup leader.
15 minutes.. not a chance.
I would love to see a feature that limits the max range you can attack. It would give a reason to having a "Border" for your clans territory. Wars would become border wars like in real life, with the border being pushed back and forth.
I would immensely help clans with the idea of recruiting members close to them, and almost make clans like a country.
I think this would really help the newbies. How about the farther you send your troops to attack the less attacking power they have. (They are weary from travel and lack of food) Maybe even some of them dying out before reaching the village. This would keep the really large players from swarming the small players far away.
Am sure this isn't a new idea but just in case....
Why don't you simply restrict playing time to a maximum of 15 minutes per day. Am sure it's possible and by default would meet your goal.
In an earlier post, someone mentioned having archers included in this game. I think that would be a good idea, because during those time, there were archers. I don't think that we should get rid of our cm's though. I'm not to crazy about the random placement of new players. It makes it harder to expansion, especially if you are not part of the clan who has dominated the area. I don't think there should be a limit on time you can spend on this game. Sometimes I spend a short time on it and sometimes a much longer time. I enjoy this game.-Kieyco-
The idea of paying for extra features is not encouraging. Lots of features that you earn as you go up in rank FOR FREE is more to my liking. I enjoy the game, but I don't like having to "pay" to play.

I actually like this idea a lot.

A 5 day period is nice to keep from being attacked. However, in 5 days there is no way you can get your defenses up and win against thousands of attacking forces.
I think its necessary to put more kind of troops. The game is rather plain if you just have that amount of troops that differ. This game would be pretty much good if the creators of this game would add 6 more different troops. Also add the hero system wherein he has items that would make your troops stronger. If they can do that, this game would be much more popular than any other games. I'm sure of it. ;)
there should be archers.. and market where you can trade stuff.. more power..
Personally I think one of the biggest problems in the game is when established players with many villages pick off new players who are just starting. I like the idea a little ways down that new players should start in a default "admin clan," until they want to join a player created one. In the "admin clan" they should be both unable to attack other villages and unable to be attacked. This would allow new players to learn the game and build a decent defense, as well as have some time to clan shop, before they are susceptible to being wiped out by some of the behemoth clans.
Also, perhaps a membership limit on clans as well as a clanless, or free-for-all, realm.
After reading several posts I find that the sentiment I agree with most is simply having friends/family nearby to you. I have suggested this game to several friends (some of who joined & some did not) but because they are so far away, it became meaningless. Maybe a feature that allowed you to choose one or two people who you want to be nearby to, that would keep people from ganging up & still allow you to play with friends/family.
Maybe get an additional building troop planner. We're only allowed to build what we have in current gold, but maybe design a way to schedule another couple buildings on a 'loan' after we run out of the hourly wage. We'd still pay for it, like not being given the hourly wage for however long it takes to pay back the 'loan'.
I have played quite a few games of this "type" online and the reason I quit most of them is the time I had to stay online to be competitive. As I type I have someone from 12 hours away coming to conquer the three little villages I have built up in the three weeks I have played. So to contribute to the conversation about having a 15 minute play time goal, here are some thoughts:
1) One online game I played rewarded you if you logged out for 12 hours and 24 hours, respectively. Since servants seem to be the cash cow, perhaps reward 1 servant for every 24 hours offline.
2) HUGE attack penalties should be incurred for a) picking on a smaller ACTIVE player AND b) do not allow a governor to travel more than 6 hours from his/her home base (they are fragile).
3) Split the map into quadrants and allow players to pick which quadrant they want to play in. I joined this game to play with both of my brothers and we would up so far from each other none of us can help any one of us.
I honestly suggest all of the above.
Archers would be awesome!

Good idea!!
15 minutes per day is pretty kewl ... but some players are playing way more than their fair share (giving them an unfair advantage) .
Introducing an 1 hour per day limit could level the playing fields .
I love the slow speed but after acquiring 5 or more villages , "15 min per day" is almost impossible to maintain ... time required goes up exponentially !
Furthermore , harvesting anything more than just a few villages becomes a tedious chore .
Introducing a scheduler which saves all destination locations would be helpful .
A little extra AI which would also allow each village to be periodically harvested depending on SM/Treasury combination (and sending out harvesters from the pool as soon as they become available available) would also also support the more financially orientated clans .
Let's face it ... Realm of Empires is just way more than a war game .
Like 'snakes and ladders' it represents the ups and downs of life itself , albeit with limited variables .
It's all good

Suggestion for scheduling:
In business and government you schedule your projects based off of the money that should be available at the time the project has to be paid for and no project is paid in full up front. Scheduling improvements to buildings would be better if you had this option in game.
Archers, Elite Warriors, catapults, seige towers, citadel, metal walls, grand knights(calvary), Gold, free unlimited building, medics, kings will all benefit to 15 minutes a day
Perhaps a way to see who has attacked the person you are supporting? If a message can be gotten out, even when all your supporting soldiers are dead, then they should be able to tell you who attacked as well, I would think.
i think every player must have hero..that will level up..that a great idea..
i have not read all the comments here so i don't if my comments were already said..perhaps add more commands to the troops abroad like a command on which the troops would advance to the allied villages or to attack other village instead of just 'recall/recall some'.another thing, maybe add conditions to the world map perhaps kinds of terrain, say forests or rocky mountains that could affect the time travel of the supporting/attacking troops, this could make overpowering a small village be difficult for a huge nearby village thus giving time for a newbie to build some defense.

its nice to control your support troops from other village you owned. instead of clicking village 1(which support originated)youll just click the supported village. this way you can have easy access when you have great support at your main(supported)village.;p
(1) The largest time waster is collecting money by sending out troops. An automatic troop collection scheduler would allow for collections without logging into the game.
(2) An alternative to (1) is to allow creation of a list to send out troops with one click.
(3) Queue allows entry without money and starts building once the money is available.
(4) Allow for money to automatically purchase chests if there is a palace within the city.
Suggestion:
Occupation of a Village... not similar to Conquer a Village, but the Occupied town can be used as a bridge for an attack ex. i attack village A and occupy it, my other clan mates and i can use it as a bridge to attack Village B w/c is our real target, the occupied village cannot raise an army except he/she have another village to free it, ask another player to free it, ask the occupying forces to liberate it or if there are no more occupying forces in the occupied village. This is a War Game and in a war there's no impossible and there is always a Stronger Strategy than Accurate Calculation in Battle Simulator. Another Suggestion:
The Blacksmith-- In TW or Tribal Wars(i'm a former player of that game) a more advanced army in weaponry can win a battle even outnumbered, 100 knights w/ lv5 Weapon and lv5 Armor can win against a wave of 1000 lightcavs w/ lv1 weapons and armor.
In this suggestions the game will be more in Decisive Victory by Strategy than Calculated Victory by numbers... more realistic and not pure numbers...
--ZeusOmega--
would like to see the ability to command troops to attack from villages that they are supporting. For instance, i send troops to a village in support. I then want to be able to send them to attack without having to bring them all the way back to home villages. I would also love to see more variety of troops and that if I send spies to a city, maybe i can kill some of his too so its just not mine dying all the time. Assassins maybe?
attacking weak villages should be prohibited instead those who are in the rank of knights and up can only be attacked.
As a few have said, put a limit on higher levels attacking lower levels. Say xxx points difference max., or by title...
I agree with the Idea of Archers. High attack and low defense. Would make for more tactical placement in choosing attacks.
Also, I reject the idea of caps. I think after a player is out of his noobie time, he's a target. If we can't attack weaker players, how is ANYONE suppose to win a war? Playing games where you have to weaken YOURSELF just to attack is annoying and *STUPID.
How about a Privateer troop? Even though they loot enemy ships, but Realm of Empires doesn't have any ships, but it's worth a thought.
What about several ways to make money... like logs, stones, ect... and maybe more buildings that help with income also... a few more unit types would be helpful like a javiline missile troop or an archer missile troop... You could also make it where you dont have to ship silver but have one big fortune that you can spend on all your cities and make the treasury limit bigger and production bigger... maybe making the travel time shorter so we can actually support all of our allies and clan mates in their time of need... make it where we can recruit mercenaries so we can get a bulk of army when it is necessarry like when the enemy is getting close... just suggestions but i think this would be good and very helpful in the game...
Thanks anyways
sii have a suggestion i play this game pretty much everyday when im at home and its really convenient to have the nobility package but the problem is i cant do enough free offers to get enough servants to get it for 30 days all i have been able to get is 50 servants and thats from doing like 10 offers so i think the servant number of 100 should be lowered to at least 70 or 80 so it would be easier for the people like me who cant pay for servants because of house payments and utility payments can get it because im on a tight budget with college and stuff but its just a suggestion ill keep playing either way but it would make things a whole lot easier for me and a few other people thanx
I think more time on night time build would be better/more efficient for me.
Sorry, but there is no way 15 minutes a day works in Realm 4. The more time spent on-line raiding results in more silver and more villages. This game is a major time burner and is rapidly becoming boring. More rapid silver production to eliminate the need for raiding/farming would go along way to coming closer to your 15 minute goal .... and also reduce the stress on your servers.
How about changing the timeout on the night queue to 23 hours? That way, people can actually use it every night, without having to sit waiting to push the 'activate' button the instant the timer runs out.
I would like to be able to see my incoming troops along with my outgoing troops on the command units page
How about a realm that you can login whenever you want but you can only enter order for 15 / 20 min after activation (baically a night build only server).
This could have a 12+ hour lock so that you can only enter orders 15-20 min every 12 hours.
(12 hours would allow for schedule changes and not lock someone into an inconvenient time)
Could leave the overnight build at 8, however at 8 hours worth of orders it would give the cash players an advantage of 4 hours a cycle, not much at the start but after silver is increased that 4 hours will be a huge benefit.
Or you could change the order lockout to 8 hours only giving the cash players a slight advantage.
~NakiAse
i think that there should another source of income other then having to raid some one else or your silver mine cause i often find that i cant produce enought silver to do what i want and spend hrs raiding to fill my treasure to do what i need
Just an idea but I am not able to log on alot due to my work schedule and all so when I do get to log on I would like it if Iwas able to do a lot with the time I have. I was thinking a button where you can just click onto your clan and send them troops or anything else they may need at the time. I think there should be a way where clan members could help each other out and work good together but in an easier way
the game is outstanding i love it so much i play it all the time non stop lol-shouldn't change it other then the time it takes for troops to come back to the village after supporting or attacking-a lot better than waiting forever to get your units back-possibly make it so i could get some servants to i am broke and play this game all the time it would be amazing to have money to get them but i cant :( -maybe different units possible make more buildings like a training place for archers-have big wagons to deliver troops faster- something like that -have a brothel jpjpjp over all best game on facebook dont change it :) other then the time it takes to do stuff :P lol and if not dont change (i give it a 10/10 good job designers)
Sorry, I think players who are on more often should be rewarded. Why reward someone who only spends 15 minutes a day on the game? Those are the people you message for help and get a reply from 3 days later because they only 'check in' every now and then.
Oh and complaining about being a small player and being taken over. Please.
You have what, 10 days of protection? Join a real clan in that time period and I promise your likelihood of being attacked is virtually NIL. I have yet to be taken out at the start of any realm.
I would like to see a limit on how much support a village can hold, more varied attack/defense units. (trebs should be able to target troops only so you can soften up a village with one village first before the real raid begins)
Troop builds should be MUCH faster. It sucks that it take 2 weeks to get 200 knights. Seems a bit much.
Oh and troop movement scheduler...folks, use the ROE Power Tools program. It has that. I conquer half my villages while I'm asleep with that thing.
15 min per day? Is that the goal for paying members or for everyone?
Cause all your current extra features that enhance/speed up administration of one's empire cost money.
A speed adjuster for troops would be useful. If we could give our troops a percentage speed to travel at then we can ensure they land at as time we are online. For example if a village is 30 hours away from you this means you have to log in twice a day to be there when they land. If we could make the troops go a bit slower and take 48 hours instead then we would make them hit when we would normally be back online.
A little choice over troop movement times would help a great deal.
15 mins a day?
Not easy when you're a council member of a clan and you have several villages to build in and recruit at and 10 pages of messages in your inbox about border disputes, as well as the multiple pages of Forum posts.
If the aim is to reduce the time spent on the game, then I'm afraid the only ways of doing it are to automate more tasks/allow longer queues without the Nobility Package, or to simplify the game.
I enjoy the game in its present form, although the RoE Mapper is always out of date - the tool is really helpful.
Many people have suggested it, but I will say it again - the ability to transfer some of your supporting troops to a village (who will then have to feed them!) would be a great advantage, and also limiting the range for attacks. Why is it 22 squares for Rebel villages but not for abandoned/player controlled villages? This would encourage more wars between neighbouring clans as they struggled to expand, and prevent experienced players from moving to the rim for "easy pickings"
I think that it would be a good feature if we could trade with other villages we could eran silver that way we could get to know other players as well............of course we would have to come up with a way to gather stuff like a unit specificly designed to gather. we would also have to have some xsort of feilds building but I think it would be worth it and it would make the game more fun. plus we could have better relations with our allies or neighbors. THANKS
You need to not make people pay additional money for the recruitment feature, especially the ones who already pay for the nobility package!!
I think a good feature would be to have an alternate way to gain new villages. Maybe you could recruit settlers and pay to found a new village instead of only being able to conquer.
two things:
first, it will be came very handy in the goal of "15 minutes" if for each building you can't upgrade, it will be write in which hour, based on your current silver production, you can able to upgrade this building. or a tasks list :)
second, it's just annoying.
it will be very helpful if we can just recruit troops from their building.
I agree with the comment to limit all attacks to 22 squares. It might help out with the endless attacks being launched in r5. You simply cannot stay in the game, at 15 minutes a day, and expect to survive a 40 or 50 hour attack sequence - some are even longer. These attacks are being launched from different vills and landings can be a few minutes to an hour or so apart for several days.
Archers would be nice to see in the game for one, a good ranged unit. Not sure if you'd want to introduce magic into the game or not, but if so that would be pretty awesome as well. Also, some kind of building like an academy where you can upgrade the defense and attack of troops, stuff like that. Maybe even ability to upgrade regular infantry, like researching to make infantry into spearman or swordsman. Hope that helps a bit for ideas.
I think there should be a kingdom overview screen with a grid of check boxes and the budget that you have in that village so you can choose what you want to build in every village by checking the building's box in that village's row and then clikcing the build button whcih would speed up the maintenance of the village. The same could be done with the troops accept not check boxes but text boxes for the number of troops
Being new, I found the map very inconvenient using arrows on the sides and top. Wouldn't it be better to be able to use your curser to drag the map in any direction?
I agree, a couple more troop types would be helpful. Maybe archers for high defense/attack, or pikemen/spearmen against knights ect. Also having to have servants to have a building cue almost discouraged me to the point where I almost quit ROE becuase I was so annoyed.
WHERE ARE THE BOATS AND SHIPS AND PIRATES. I mean, the entire game is on land. What bout the sea?
Actually, you very rarely use the map in dynamic mode.. so moving it is not really a problem.
Playing this game lightly is okay if you are just starting out, however if you are really into it, 15 minutes per day will not work.
Excellent feature added to those with the Nobility pack for purchasing chests in bulk, the troop builder is a bit of a struggle to learn.. You can do this game fairly quickly and if you have the right village build and friends near you, you can all cover each others back while not playing. However... if you go for serious strategy and serious "timed" attacks.. 15 hours per day can become a reality quite easily.
The last batch of updates is VERY impressive.. kudos to the devs!
Updated troop recruitment that tracks what types of troops you normally recruit to a particular village, and could give you option to repeat your last recruitment command in all your villages. This would cut down on time that the bigger players would need to spend cycling through villages (as I'm sure yall were concerned with which led to the 'mass recruit' option), but it wouldn't sacrifice accuracy in their recruitment wishes/plans.
I feel that a good idea would be to allow us the players to send like say a courier to moving troops to change direction. It would add a layer of strategy to the game like in a clan war you could send an army to a enemy village to get the clan to put troops there to support them and then reroute them to a different village close by.
should be able to know the supporting troops identity in spie attacks
im on ROE probably 23 hours out of the day lol. i use skype and am in constant communication with everyone within my clan. so are a few other friends of mine. we took a week off work in order to do 78 hours of ROE play. 78 hours of nothing but ROE. it was amazing...
but i like what some people said, archers with tons of defense replace CM's. it would make the game more interesting. also get the ROE mapper up to realm 8, and possibly an automated upgrade design. or something you can program to do what you want. like farmvills auto farmer. that would be pretty cool.. also servants, it would be nice to not have to pay 8 billion dollars for servants.
A kind of ballista would be very handy in defending the villages
wait...seriously? a week of RoE??? wow, thats ummm dedication. Im keen for that whole idea of Building list, so like you have 5 spots on a list in which you can appoint 5 actions, either to build something or upgrade a building you already have, possibly even recruiting but anyway, each action can still happen one at a time, but then you dont have to stay on and wait for the seconds to go buy just to click upgrade again and again. You set your list of what you want done, It gives you how long it will take to complete the list. and ta da! 8-12 hours later you come back on and all these new buildings or upgrades or new troops. :)
Like the first post says, a troop movement scheduler would be amazing. It usually takes me an hour to plan out an attack on a few villages so that they all land within 2 minutes of each other, and the govs land shortly thereafter. Then, I have to set alarms to remind me to login at a certain time to send troops from a certain village to another. Some days that is fine, but a lot of times it is a real stretch. I don't use the .exe mapping feature because I have a mac, so I hope I'm not posting something that already exists. :)
i know this is unrelated but can somebody tell me how to determine the coordinate of a village particularly your own village? thanks in advance..
I think automatic troop recruitment would be pretty horrible as inactive players would be far more difficult to get rid of if they left their auto-troop recruit on.
where's my reward?
maybe an auto building upgrading scheduler.
we could put which all building we wnt to upgrade a schedule and one after the other he building to get completed.
i think doin this he "15 mintues per day "would actually work.we don't ned to constanly log in t kep upgrading the buildings
:)
the 15 minute rule wont do newbies like me much good simply because it takes a while before you could level up, recruit and build a fortress strong enough to withstand an attacking force. and if you're new to a game you simply want to play much longer for the simple reason that you what to catch up with other players who are already strong.
maybe you should cheapen and shorten the upgrade and recruiting time for lower levels or why not fix it to just 2 minutes from upgrade 1-15.
if you dont want to change your 15 minute rule why not implement it on players who are already at level 10(baron). that way they'll have no excuse on staying much longer online.
im sorry but its not a very practical rule for me since i am pretty much online everytime coz im playing a lot of online games and whenever i finish harvesting on my other games i make it a point to visit roe to check if there are forces attacking my village and if i have enough silver to upgrade and recruit.
and getting banned because of playing actively doesn't really make sense to me... sorry...
I'm sure this has been mentioned, but I think governor transfers would be great. Just make it cost a lot of silver and move twice as slow so people have to really use their heads when doing it.
3 ideas that i think would benefit the game..
1)when you are sending out attackings troops and your village has been taken over, those attacking troops still land....in real life an attacking troops force would not dissapear because there HQ had been took over
2) if you station support at a village you can then forward that support to another rather than send them back home to send out.
3) govs can be moved and stationed, they only die when the village there in gets taken over, would aid in gov survival but also faster takeovers/clusters for a better war
may be 1 servent?
Why do silver transports not show up on as incoming in terms of troop movements? I understand that it isn't dangerious, per say, but it would help to be ready to use the resources that a friend sends rather than have it sit around or possibly have some of it go to waste because you were not prepared for it when it arrived.
why cant we make 50000 the worth in buying chest instead of 75000? the worth of each governor is increasing anyways. this will make it to the point that chest will be now cheaper, very handy for those newbies who wants to expand faster soon as they already build their palace.one more thing silver production in regards of hiring governors (whom their worth becomes more and more expensive consecutively) is also very time consuming.this really make sense.-))
how about giving a glimpse of the attack...like how it is taking place..that would totally be neat!
i think there are alot of great ideas here. like being able to move your gov's about your villages.
the same should go for troops who have been moved but are still in your own governed villages as long as it meets food cap requirements for that village, this would make for better defense capabilities early on and attack statagies.
I Think i do like my ideas as thinker , but Let's see..

, He can choose the any villages he wants to loot, ( Max is 8 villages ).
~ This General Can use only Horse Raiders.
~ This general dies/Flee when the city is plundered and all soldiers killed.
~ u give the General a number of ur Raiders , and he fill his army from the city "General asking for support" , u give him a number (for example 100) , and he fill it up when he lost some of his raiders.
- The People could use the general when this general got his place in this city ( I mean well-defended ) and this thing is good for u to keep this general , it's wonderful to have him in ur side.
~ The general stops when u give him the command to stop, and he stops looting when he get loses more than 50% and he returns to city with cutoff flags, and u see a picture of his return with a note : "The General of our mighty (Ruler) King/queen. Ambushed while he is in Task , He is Asking for ur forgiveness , And he Promised u To Remove the Shame of ur Ruling history"
~if he is lost all his troops:-
- he will be disappear for 2 days ( u get a message with image: General disappeared in somewhere nearby ur mighty kingdom...etc (when it comes more than 2 days it's gonna make u sure , the general is dead.
-if he comes back , He gives u a Chest box fill with gold, and it worths more in silver , a 25-50% back of cost of recruited raiders which died in Ambush. and he Tell: Sire , I failed u... I returned to u with some money could prove my Mistakes, I Ask one Thing , Ur mighty forgiveness!! (this message comes with image of kneeling general with the chest of gold up to ur King/queen 's Face) .
- there should be 2 images , for queen and for king , which can be changed in gender options. "Male = king , Female =Queen"
-u can change the gold silver in transport place ,
1 golden coin =200-? silver.
---------------------------------------
When His city is plundered and all people dies, The general flees away to seek for new king/queen (Ruler)
and it's random in the map , but close to the ruler he was nearby.
like 2 hours away is the max time.
When he comes to u (lucky one when u're more than 2000 points+) u get a message: Guard calling at night, "a Wounded man! He Looks like high fighter! What's ur order sire? Should we give him Water & food and give him a tent to stay in?" u say yes and u give him a tent until his wounds cured "1 day long"
and he serves only the city he came to , no city can get 2 generals in same time.
Hope my message is clear, this game will be wonderful if u make this general.
~ This ideas is useful when u're off but u'll come daily to c ur pretty village became a city With great army made by u.
"Send messages on uyu-6@hotmail.com"
King Revexey Wants to share his ideas.
Also, i Suggest "The Adviser" gives orders to the building menu , which as i said , 6 buildings max, will make the person stay more than 15 mins to c his town how's it going , also the Looter General and his spys & army.
I Suggested "looting General" because it cost a more time but it works when u're off or on, it's better than looting urself. which is horrible and so hard to do when u get a kingdom.
I really know that everyone will like this idea , which is hard to be made.
please Team of Roe game , watch this and tell me what u think.
I feel 15 minutes a day is a good start, but once your village has reached a certain size or have control of multiple villages, 15 minutes will just not cut it. I would suggest checking every 4 hours, this will give you time to for troop movement and make a little money. I would also suggest for those who are new, when you begin to move troops, keep a running log or notes on where your troops are and going, even future plans.
How about target unit numbers? In other words, for example, say you wanted 10000 knights and maintain that number you set the target and set to maintain then they're trained automatically.
Auto-retaliate for when you're attacked a retaliation occurs, if you can match or beat the units used.
I don't know if the following has been posted up yet, but it goes...
I think the leveling of buildings that train units should get lower costs and higher traveling speed reduction, not just shorter training time.
Or at least have a research centre/academy building where we can spend silver on leveling different science such as improve buildings health, units' armour, units' attack, units' load, farm's food limit, silver mining technology & lower training cost etc...
These improving technologies will allow players to perform an attack, support or farming task much faster, heading towards "the goal of 15min per day".
Allow simultaneous building!!!!!!!!!
this would make leveling a little faster.. Simultaneous building...
I am on more than one realm and am active on one but just gathering treasure chests on others. I should be able to go into my less than active realms and make one click to convert silver into treasure chests, instead of going village by village which seems to take forever. If you are serious about 15 minutes per day, then this would cut down time spent by many minutes and would also cut down internet traffic.
I would like the game much better if I didn't have to worry about my villages being attacked while at work or sleeping. The only time i'll need to use a Stewart is when am going to be off for longer then planned. It be nicer of ROE if you was only active players attack only those that are active..A player comes on after sleeping all night and comes home from school or work and fines all their villages have been attacked or taken over.. The feeling of defending yourself is better then leaving the game or attacking another active player knowing they are there to defend themselves.. The heart of the game isn't while your out it's while your online..
A camp time,so you could just send your troops to attack at a set time. You don't have to go back online each time to send attacks in each village with different distances.
I would like to see the Spy have the ability to attempt assassination of a Governor. Of course also a chance to be caught.
yeah i would like to see more chances to get free servents
*Speed up R4
*attack scheduler
*reassign troops(so you can change the village troops belong too)
*unlimited build queue as standard
good day!! im new in this game and im kind to like it, i would to suggest if you would add some more extra unit that might help during batle like for an example an archer or strategist unit, that would suggest what you might do or not during batle... thats all thanks!!!
I'd like French people at the tops of my towers, hurdling insults at the attacking troops.
wat aboutmaking the tags free and not have it attached to the NBP and give us more farmland
How about trading chests for some troops? Like hiring some knights, LCs, CMs or Infantries for an amount of chests? this could reduce the recruiting time.
1) Give players the option to recall support units that have been sent to other villages.
2) Eliminate friendly fire when we take over a village that has support troops in it.
3) A boiling oil upgrade for the walls.
A few suggestions from someone who has just played over a week... These may be a bit out of order as I am just writing them out as I am thinking.
1. Troop scheduler for purposes of doing village raids for silver until the village ownership changes.
2. To help narrow the gap between newbies and vets, how about units have a ongoing maintenance charge of silver in addition to the recruitment charge which you can waive for the first week. That way, there is a daily cost for having such a large army.
Also include a silver charge for maintenance of buildings. With all the extra charges, establish a marketplace and trade routes to help augment the silver mine.
But in the end, the new charges should force players to keep easonably army sizes instead of stockpiling troops, no matter the experience level.
3. Borders. Have the village expand and take up more area as it grows. If the border hits a rebel or abandon village, then the village can join ( without needing a governor ), rebel causing a war, or work out a border separating the 2 areas. Village prestige, treasury, and army size can be used to calculate how the rebels will react.
Once large enough, then let troops be scheduled for patrols that can intercept incoming armies and sound the alarm so the attacking forces can automatically intercept the invaders before they arrive. When they arrive is based on the distance like it is currently done
Also allow villagers to leave one location for another within your empire or to create a whole new village within your boarders.
4. Centralized planning and spending where the capital metes out silver and all the village improvements and forces can be scheduled from one screen. But keep the time delay for silver transport between cities. Also, allow food to be transported between cities.
5. Allow troops to re-base.
6. Allow for an invading army to destroy the farmland there by reducing the support available to the defending army.
7. Allow for an invading army to setup an outpost from which to stage new attacks. But require the invaders to have to setup transports for food or silver to keep their troops there. Food/silver run out, the troops will disband.
8. Allow for silver transports, food transports and trade routes to be raided when they cross boarders or enter free space. Allow the transports to assign security detail to prevent raiding.
9. With the patrols, allow them to decide when to attack, alarm, neither, or both for invading armies, armies passing through to another location, and transports passing by.
10. Finally, if a village is neglected or suffers major casualties ( can be weighted by rank so a few losses to a newbie are worse than alot of losses to an expert ) by an unprovoked attack on another player by the ruler, then that city can revolt and revert to rebel status forcing the ruler to have to tend to his own cities instead of invading.
you should be able to set villages to auto manage by a computer, and all the player has to do is set up a build structure/ allowance for the town to use per day. Such as setting a town to be gold oriented, and then at a set time ship a specified amount of money to a village of choice. same goes for soldiers/etc.

Possible developments:
Sappers: elite engineering unit at level 20 seige works .... with a set % chance of bringing down citadel walls[strongly fortified] and which increase rams / trebuchet effectiveness in combined attack ... at level 25... greater % chance. however; a small percentage walls/tunnels collapse killing the crew.....
Citadel Escape Tunnel & hatch; and governors' guard..enable a player to escape with one governor, $$$ and some troops to either...attack citadel again, or find another village, preferably abandoned...
Possibility of mayordoms for villages... currently all is stacked in favour of players with governors... if an option existed to create a 'mayor' to take over small villages; this would open out more abandoned villages being taken up by beginner players. At HQ level?? or mine level ??? or treasury level??? mayors may go renegade and become rebellious villages....and need to be conquored....= palace, governor, full army....
players could be limited to how many mayordoms they could create in any one area or time period of game play.... and would require a citizen level of ???? ...making conquest difficult....
I like the idea of seige craft: throwing poison cattle over the wall.... this has the effect of slowing the population production and reducing citizenry numbers... acheivable by use of special POISON TREBUCHET [green glow] ...however..extensive use of such trebuchet has the following effects: reduction in standing/ranking as dishonourabe; increasing chance of desertion from your army; increasing chance of rebellion in your villages/renegading.......
THis biological warfare can be offset by an upgrade : cobbled streets, drainage, sewers, better water supply [well] from an engineering upgrade or HQ 'bonus'...
MAP: can we PLEASE have tabs for notes so we can record our major allies or positions/ main areas... 1) aids in messaging our allies 2) helps in sending gifts of silver to the clan network/ vassaldom....
this could be a feature at a level; or through servants; or... at level X ...let us have a CARTOGRAPHER... special spy who can 1) extend range of map to other areas 2) create maps of area at a certain time point... which you can go back to...[see map tabs idea] .....
i like the idea of a market for increasing another source of revenue; other medieveal source sof revenue were wool; grain; production of cloth; and other concerns..all of which COULD become a feature in a town;or a town could choose ONE out of the category of production.....
these are just some ideas....
laborious tasks:
1/ farming
needs a repeat cycle command for automation. This applies also to cycling nobles to take over a settlement.
2/ building/training
if you could set the queue and it only deducted the money when the next job started you could queue a weeks worth of stuff that would just progress as the money came in.
the real problem is defence. You have to be online to defend properly. There is no alternative unless extra information is given to your alliance mates to allow them to defend you adequately while you were away. This would mean a minimum of an incoming attacks against your alliance list.
I think that you should give new players, either:
A: more protection time, based of course on how long the realm has run
and/or
B: put a severe handicap on high level players attacking the lower levels
If your goal is to make it a 15 min game that is fun to play this would help alot. The new players cannot play only 15 minutes a day knowing that they will be a target soon. If you were to put a 50% or more handicap on a player 2 times the number of points it would stop the older players who are 50k+ points from gobbling up the 3-5k vils. I did the battle sim of me with 5k pts vs a 50k attacker they get a measly 28%, and they're 10x my size it doesn't make any sense. This means if they decide to take me out they can just take the losses and not worry about it, if on the other hand they had a big handicap they would think twice about picking up the vil.
This is absolutly not true.
If someone play a lot time a day, he can attack a lot of rebel village and take their silver so he will progress faster, then the player who play only 15minutes.
I take 200K silver per day with 300 lc...
do u know how much money it is at the beggining?
Maybe in later phase of game, this will be true, but now, at the beggining its apsolutely untrue.
This is pure scam
this game takes more than 24 hours per day if you wanna really play
you don't know when others will attack you or when you will have 100 incoming so Dev please stop selling this nonsense of 15 minutes per day
Ok Developers, here is my suggested addition that would trim a LOT of time from my day. Much like the wonderful Mass Recruit and Mass Chests features, what I want is a Mass Tripwire feature.
Here is how I would see it working: Simply select the desired player, select the troop to use for the trip (I use Infantry) and it automatically sends 1 of that troop to every village then held by the player selected. If you use my idea, I don't even need 40 gazillion servants as compensation (though a couple thousand would be a nice gesture!)
So let's think what would be needed;
-Ability to queue buildings and troops when you don't have resources in anticipation of them being available in time.
- Auto farming of cleared villages (at least NPCs).
- Defensive stance (i.e. automatic troop dodge).
Given the fact new realms open, penalising attacking smaller players is ridiculous, it rewards failure and penalises success. If people can;t play well enough to defend themselves maybe war games aren't for them.
A penalty based on start date could however be used to stop more established players targeting newer starts in the same realm.
15mins is a tough target, automated build and defensive approaches are possible, but offence tends to require more intervention and if you don't encourage offence you risk being stuck with little more than sim city.
I think that RoE mapper should be a tool in the menus somewhere its a vital and important tool that should be used. Also more units like archers, swordsman, armoured cavalry, horsearchers, siege towers,Onagers,Assassins could be an asset.I'm talking about adding these options not replacing anything. Also the rewards should'nt be slowed for ppl just cause they enjoy the game and play it alot.Buying governor chests should also be dealt with.the chests even from village to village with lvl 45 mines still can take almost a full day to get 1 governor. That needs to change also in my opinion.Other than all my hopes for a better game and all my suggestions,I wish everyone out there the best and good luck enjoy RoE..I know I am!
I like the idea of having a certain amount of time for those who are just starting the game so those who are bigger cannot attack them right away. I suggest this tho. If your headquarters are not lvl 15 or above you cannot attack anyone. In the game there is not much you can do until headquarters are lvl 15 anyways. This not only gives people time to build but also time to protect themselves.
i start to get bored just waiting the time... so i decide to quit... moved to mobile game kaw... not much waiting... more playing than waiting...
